As an integral part of the Michigan Business Services team, Mail Services provides the university with extensive expertise and knowledge in the areas of mailing, shipping, and understanding and applying postal regulations. Postal automation and processing services help the university save money.

Mail Services is responsible for the collection and delivery of campus mail, receipt and delivery of parcel post, processing of metered mail, and acts as a liaison between the United States Postal Service (USPS) and the University of Michigan.

Mail Services is ready to answer questions and help your department set up the most cost-effective mailing operation. Several university-wide seminars are held each year to update departments on major changes in the postal system. One-on-one or small-group seminars can also be arranged as needed. By taking advantage of these seminars, departments will benefit in both cost and time savings.
